The placement allows students to see the relevance of
their studies in a practical context and gives an opportunity to exercise
skills covered in MNGT 200 and in other courses. The Management School assists
students in finding suitable placements. The assessment is based on a report
of a project undertaken during the period of employment.

The aim of the module is to equip students with experience of work within a business environment. The expectation is that students will acquire not only knowledge of business problems and practices, but also experience of interpersonal relationships within a real world context.

Students will have an opportunity to apply concepts and techniques which they have learned on other courses, and the dissertation will embody this material and appropriate applications.
